FarmingEye Endoscope Privacy Policy

Farming AI ("we", "us", or "the Company") values the privacy of users of the FarmingEye Endoscope mobile application ("the App"). We comply with applicable laws (including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act and Network Act) and Google Play policies. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, retained, and shared.

1. Information We Collect & Purpose

• Camera video — Live video from a connected USB UVC endoscope/webcam or from the device's rear camera is displayed on screen. When you take a photo or record a video, the result is saved to your device. Video is never transmitted over the network.
• Microphone audio — When you enable the Voice option during video recording, microphone audio is included in the saved video. When the option is off, no audio is captured.
• Storage access — Used to save captured photos and videos to the system gallery (MediaStore Pictures/USBCamera and Movies/USBCamera).
• USB host access — Used to communicate with an external UVC camera (endoscope) connected via USB.

2. Data Retention & Deletion

• Captured photos and videos are stored solely on your device. They are not uploaded to any Farming AI server.
• You can delete them at any time using the system gallery or a file manager, or by uninstalling the App.
• We do not separately collect, copy, or back up any of the above data.

3. Third Parties & Data Transfer

The App does not transmit your photos, videos, or audio to any third party, server, advertising network, or analytics service.

4. Permissions Used

• android.permission.CAMERA — Required by Android 14+ to access USB UVC cameras, and used to access the device's rear camera as a fallback.
• android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO — Captures microphone audio while recording video (only when Voice is enabled).
• android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 9 and below) — Saves photos and videos to shared storage.
• android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below) — Reads previously saved files.
• android.hardware.usb.host — USB host mode for connecting to the endoscope.

5. Children Under 14

The App is a general-purpose tool for displaying and recording endoscope video and is not directed at children. Users under the age of 14 should use the App only under the guidance of a parent or guardian.

6. Security

The App does not transmit any data over the Internet. All video, audio, and photos are kept solely in your device's local storage.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy when required by law or due to changes in the service. Material changes will be announced in the App or on our website at least 7 days before they take effect.
